I need to purchase a choke for my step-son's Franchi 620 VS 20 GA. It currently has the Improved Cylinder choke in it (a guess from the way it patterns). I recently bought it from a friend. I am wanting to take him turkey hunting and need to find a good choke for this gun. Any ideas where I need to start? I have did some searches online, but did not find a lot of choices. Will the Benneilli chokes work with a Franchi? I do not know a lot about chokes. Any help would be appreciated?

If the current choke tube you have has a square thread then the Beretta/Benelli tubes should interchange, but to be sure I'd give the folks at Carlson's Choke Tubes a call. With the model number of your gun they will be able to get you fixed up with the proper tube.

should be able to take it out. Stick a finger in the barrel that fits snuggly and twist the choke out. Read the style and screw back in. Mack sure to get it back in tight. That's how I switch my chokes when a wrench isn't around.

I can't say w/100% certainty that the 20ga is the same thread pattern as benelli, but I believe it is. I know the 12ga is.
