Reelfoot fishing

Hi all,
Just got back from a weekend at Reelfoot lake fishing for Crappie. Weather was horrible, but my cousin and I made the most of it. It snowed on us and rained on us. We brought back just over 70 pounds of Crappie fillets. All in all, we caught over 200 Crappie. At one point the waves were so bad that the locals and guides wouldn't even go out. My cousin and I went out anyway and caught 35 keepers that evening. Thought about staying down there and opening up a fishing guide service :rolleyes: .

Plan on going down this weekend but you have me so excited now that I may not be able to wait. Were you fishing the upper or lower end of the lake? What kind of bait were you using if you don't mind if I ask. Any information you that you would be willing to share would be appreciated. If you don't want give away secrets I understand. Sounds like you had to work hard to get yours.
