Great game, Sosa played his butt off....Did Padgett even score...I missed the last 3 minutes until there were 39.5 seconds to go.......:(

I can't believe the refs swallowed their whistles on that last play. Oh well, it was a good game.

They relied a lot on sosa. It seemed they were a one man show the last few minutes.

Man, what a loss. That's a heartbreaker for sure. They played their heart out. Why the ball wasn't taken to the basket on the last play I will never know...

It looked like they were trying to post up TWill down low (was being held) and Smith (was being held) was coming around a screen up top.

Oh there was definitely a foul. But, you can't depend on stuff like that with a Sweet 16 on the line. How does Sosa go 15/15 from the line and miss the last 2. :( I guess thats a freshman for you..

Yep. Stupid, stupid, stupid. It was a good game and there's no excuse other than we got beat. Those kids will be smarter and better come next year if they stay healthy and no one tells them they are good enough to go pro. Good luck to UK tomorrow. I hope they beat Kansas by 1 point so Mitch will give Tubby a lifetime contract.:D

Only two and thats with a miracle by pitt. It took them OT to beat VCU. It was almost just ONE Big east team left.
2 out of 6 left is not very impressive. I guess the people who said the Big east was overrated are being proven right.;)

Man, I wish I could have seen that game. It sounds like it was a good one. I just wish UofL would have went further in the tourney.

Hey slow bow, it's usually smart practice to wait till your team is farther in the tourney before you start dissin.

Just passing on my condolences while I have the chance. Predicting my own demise this afternoon. If and when it occurrs, I'm sure to receive "many kind words of sympathy" from several of the beloved Louisville and Indiana fans. I would expect no less.

Man that Vandy game was a great one.....I do remember someone saying that the SEC should have only gotten 3 teams in the Big Dance..... Not to mention only Four from the Big Ten and Something like 8 teams should have gotten in from the Big East...... Man what were the selection Committee thinking when they choose so many from the SEC and Big Ten....... I'll never know......

You guys are forgetting we have another day of basketball left to make up the sweet 16. So, lets see how many the Big10 and Sec have left after today.

It's kind of hard to talk smack to UK fans when we didn't make it any farther than them. However, I will make them a welcome home post later on this afternoon. :)

The SEC should have gotten 3 teams. Florida, Tennessee, and Vandy. The big 10 should have gotten 2. Wisconsin and Ohio St.

Your STILL saying that even after the poor showing from the Big east? Since you don't think UK should have gone, I guess you think that Villanova shouldn't have gone either, since thats who UK beat.

As far as Louisville, they were dangerous this year, I think they win yesterday if Caracter and others don't sit on the bench most of the second half. whats even scarier, UL only loses Jenkins, who is mediocre at best. Freshman Sosa and caracter are both studs, and will be there for several more years. I hate to say it, but UL should be pretty good next year.

Yeah, but that's only if the Agents don't get to Sosa by this time next year when the cut off date approaches for the NBA draft...He could leave after his Soph. season....Character still has a lot of growing up to do and to really prove he ain't going to return back to his past of being a punk and thinking of only himself....Let's see if he stays out of trouble and out of Rick's dog house until next season rolls around.... Because now that his basketball season has come to an end, he doesn't really have anything to distract him from his old ways....We'll see....But yes only losing Jenkins, they should be real tough next year......Maybe, but then again so will a lot of other teams next year as well........:)

Honestly? No. I don't think Villanova should have been there. I think Syracuse AND WVU should have been over them. But, that all comes back to SOS and RPI. That's what they got in on. That's why I hate it.
