Who thinks it can happen? You have to admit they didnt look too bad against Villinova. Maybe Tubby's tired of all our *@!* and going to make them boys start playing like a UK team should!! It's the NCAA tourney, you never know?!?

Never say never during tournament time.... I'm not putting any money on it tho. I look for the boys to at least go home saying they won their 16th consecutive 1st round game and be happy with that.

i picked kansas in this game and have kansas winning it all. but i would love to see my bracket busted if the cats can go all the way.
I doubt it. There's a big difference between KS and Nova. Nova has a hard time scoring at times like we do, Kansas does not have that problem.. You won't see KS go for 7 min w/out a field goal like Nova did.
I'd say UK hangs around in the first half and gets blown out late in the 2nd.
Yeah, I agree....don't think the cats have the troops to overtake KU. I can see UK hanging tough in a brave and strong effort...but I don't look for them to win. Still hoping tho :D

I picked Kansas to beat Uk also. For UK to win either Crawford or Perry is going to have to have a big game. It is time for players to step up and contribute.

Yep, they just can't seem to get everyone to have a good game on the same night. If they could get Morris, Bradley, Meeks, and Crawford to all play one great game together then we might have a shot...
All of a sudden I find myself wondering why Jasper is even playing? He's totally worthless on the offensive end of the court and he's become more of a fouler as of late.. What the heck happened to him? He looked good until the SEC play started.

Xavier University. Basketball played by kids who can read and write and do differential calculus.
If they would throw Morris the Ball every time, and Meeks and Crawford get hot I think we have a legitimate chance. I would have never thought we could slow North Carolina down but we did. You never know.

Everyone knows that there's no relation between basketball and academics, you can't have both.:D

I think that same feeling finally hit me last nite, I dunno what happened to him or what happened to my way of seeing his worth?...I'm still trying to remember/visualize when I didn't see Meeks as a starter on this team. The kid has more athleticism that most anyone.

He has spent time in the UK offensive system. He has been "TUBBIZIED"

Unless Kansas is having a bad game and aren't shooting like they normally do I don't think KY has a chance. :(

I don't know about giving him the ball every time but If UK can slow them down they have a chance. That is what makes this time of year great everyone but DUKE has a chance NOW:D

LOL. Morris needs to touch the ball every possesion. Not necissarily shoot it but touch it. Our whole offense runs through him. If a team doubles or triple teams Morris will almost always either kick the ball out or get fouled. Morris is a pretty good passer and one heck of a hoss down low. There aren't many teams that can stop him and Kansas isn't one.

I'm afraid that Kansas is going to stomp us without a problem:mad:

I'm more embarrassed by the Kansas Mud Stompin' than I am by the Duke game IMO.

If Tubby can keep it low scoring like he did against nova they have a chance. That is our only shot. The cats have to win by defense. I can't remember the last time KY scored 100 points in a game. Meeks needs to have a big day. I have gave up on Crawford. They have to make free throws. Thomas had a big game. I think he should be taking the 3's instead of Crawford. Meeks is the future of this team.

I think we have a better chance of beating Kansas in a big buck contest than we do in basketball right now!!

My bracket reads that way, also. I, too, would kindly take a bracket-bustin' in exchange for a Cats win.

Now wouldn't that just about secure ole Tubby's job, by beating Kansas in round two.....? G/L
Man I must be crazy, but I am pulling for Uk to upset the Jayhawks...would be kinda redemption for the 52 point butt whoopin...... You Think.....?:D

This is one of those games where it will either be a blowout and UK is embarrassed or "Tubby Ball" shows its worth and slows down KU enough to have a chance.

You are kidding right? Rick stayed cool in a lot of big games at UK, but the one that he didn't is the one everyone remembers.
