Kinda what I was thinking... Cards looked good today and I am a UK fan. Something wrong with this picture. Yep, I almost shed a tear thinking back to the good ole days when Ricky was at the helm....:confused: There is always hope. I guess. Even a blind hog finds a nut every now and then. Maybe, just maybe we might win.

I just watched a couple of minutes in the 1st half and most of the second half. That point guard for VCU looked as good as any PG I've seen all year. He made Duke look stupid.

Very, very physical game. I thought they were going to go to blows a couple times. I didn't watch a whole lot of the first half. From what I seen the officials did a bad job of keeping the game under control.

It wasn't as bad as it looked. It was typical Duke basketball with lots of pointless screaming and flops. In the last 6 minutes I bet Duke did the over dramatic flop 6 or 7 times. It was funny to see them put on the show and not get the call.:D
I guess Coach K must teach that, and I'm sure being Duke that it has it's nights where it works in the ACC but it made them look like idiots last night. You won't see another team work the refs like a coach K team.

Duke's problem is that they just have too many goofy looking white kids. They need some more goofy looking black kids, like Sheldon Williams.:D

there is a method to their madness on tobacco road. u really can't blame them for whining and flopping, it's been getting them calls for 10-12 years now. just really glad to see coach K and his band of punks get tossed in the first round.
interesting stat to chew on: it has now been 6 YEARS since duke made it past the sweet 16, maybe its time for new blood on tobacco road? u wanna talk about recruiting? VCU arguably had more talent available than did the dukies - NICE!!:) anybody seen BF?:confused:

This must be coming from a UK fan....Come on say it with me....That was way back in 1992 and I got to get over the fact that Duke drove a STAKE into my heart in only 1.2 seconds I believe....Now see it ain't that bad is it....:D

To be honest, I thought they were gonna pull it out, myself. They had the momentum going and all of it. I sure hate IU but, a small piece of me was actually rooting for 'em. Ain't that terrible?

Oh hell no. If the ole cards were still in it, I would have pulled for them every second. But, do you realize what I would have to listen to? However, the Cards, Cats, or Loosiers have nothing to be ashamed. They all played their hearts out and lost to REALLY good teams. I would not be surprised to Texas A&M in the final four, and UCLA and Kansas both be in the final 8. Before selection sunday I had UCLA, Kansas, and Texas A&M as my early final four.

I am a big DUKE fan...and can say in two of my three brackets i had VCU winning. It was definately expected for us fans as even duke had a 7 seed in the ACC tournament. I love duke because their style of basketball. Just keep in mind, KY fans, that Duke started 1 junior, 2 sophmores and two freshamn and have three great recruits online for next year. Though KY might have gone farther, this will definately be the last year for that for a while. Their only hope is a better coach were as duke has no where to go but up. And yet they will again be one of the great teams next year and year after....as long as they don't have any leave early. As far as TN fans.....GO VOLs...after their 121 point performance...that i watched....I can't wait to see what they are capable of.

Born and raised. I just like watching their style of basketball. I had a coach in Junior High that taught us to play like coach K and we never lost a game. It was just fundamentally sound basketball.

Man I just hate Uk with a passion, what was I thinking about rooting for them in the Tournament...I must have been drunk or on something else to have of done such a thing.....

P.S. I hate U of L more than Uk for that matter, can you tell by all the U of L bashing I have done this year? LOL .....:D:D:D
