Here's our house dog now, along with the newest additon to our kennel at about 8 weeks of age...my retired setter, who will turn 14 next month, has taken quite well to "indoor retirement". "Jim" has been the backbone of my kennel for over 10 years now, with 3 of his son's now taking over field duty.

he is a mountain cur, he has treed a squirrel in this pic and been tied to the tree while i look for the squirrel. i this case the squirrel was a little grey and waaaay up in a hickory and i missed and it got away. lol

Orange is a beeper, and the black is a training collar. The combination of the two makes the tracker unnecessary.:D It's an old TT unit from back when they carried an antenna. It works great.

This is the best of my best freinds over the years, Daisey. She was a mix of Rottweiler and Pit Bull. Unfortunately she died at 7mths due to an allergic reaction to a vaccination. She was an extremely smart pup and big. She was 75# at 7 months.

He was born in the fall of 02, so he is 4. I don't know how much he weighs, but it's a lot. I guess he weighs close to 100, but I really don't know. He usually slims up a bit in the spring and summer. He gets a lot more excercise then. I love taking him in the field with other labs...he makes them look like wusses. My parents have 2 labs that won't out weigh him together and they are the same age. He is a work horse though. He, like a lot of labs, has a heart of gold.

Couldnt ask for a better friend. Drake is 4 but he only weighs 81lbs. If I ever get another one I think he may be chocolate

If so, unfortunately, as part of the deal with the Central Kentucky Boxer Rescue, he's been "fixed". Couldn't ask for a better dog. We were REALLY surprised due to his background.
