A buddy of mine told me they are going to start selling Smith&Wesson 12ga semi-auto shotguns. Anyone heard this? They will shoot 3 1/2" and be camo. I think he said they will sell in the $800 range.

Havent heard about the new guns yet, but they made them before.

S&W imported some Franchis back in the late 80's and 90's. They were gas operated and differed only in the level of finish and the S&W logo. I think that stopped in '92, and there was one for sale on this forum just a few months ago.

I just saw a pic of one .I think it was in this months Turkey and Turkey hunting.It looks alot like the Browning gold and winchester super X2.

These were mentioned in one of the magazines a month or so back, American Rifleman IIRC.

It's coming or already out there. I saw it on a tv show the other day.

I talked to my buddy again. You are right, it is in this months issue of turkey and turkey hunting.
