Here is a pic of a turkey I killed 3 years ago. Looking back at old pics gets me pumped for the upcoming season. This bird is my personal best.

It must be in the genetics of those birds in that area. Every bird I have taken has had very thick, long beards, but the spurs are not near as impressive as the beards. That birds spurs were only 1 1/8 inches long.
