For the longest time I have been trying to find the best deal for a semi-auto shotgun. I just have a few things I need to know before buying.
1. What can you tell me about the Browing Silver Shotgun. I have found a black sythetic 3.5 The price seems reasonable and is in my budget.

2. Do some prefer the gold series over the silver. More expensive, but close to my budget. I could come up with a little extra.

If I am going to make an investment with this kind of money, I want to make sure it is the right choice on the gun.

I think you will like the Browning Gold. I just bought a Gold Micro for my wife and she loves it.

BERETTA 391 ! You won't be disappointed. I have no experience with a Browning autoloader but had a buddy that had trouble switching from light trap to heavy bird loads.

Here we go...

You'll hear plenty of opinions on this. Personally I shoot a Gold and would buy nothing else, but plenty of others will say the same thing about their guns.

Budget wise, a Stoeger is worth looking at.

Tell you what...lots of opinions....everyone thinks theirs is the best.

Well, that tells you that there are satisfied owners of each of these firearms. I guess that means they're all pretty darn good, and it's a matter of finding the one that fits your shoulder and your right buttcheek (where your wallet resides) the best.

For the record I shoot a Benelli and love it. I have shot and cleaned several Golds and frankly think for a gas gun they are an excellent choice. If I had to get a new gun it would most likely be a Gold. Not because I think it is any better than a Benelli but because I like the low rib. My Benelli is an old low rib model and I find I can't shoot the stepped rib offered on them now and don't want to get a Montefeltro.
