I think it would be neat to get some members to gether for a two night camping and hikeing trip. I have always wanted to do it, but never really had the time or experience to. I would like to get my wife involved for a family type event. Nothing to hard just easy walking and camping. but not at a camp ground with tent pads and electric.

Any thoughts?

I'd be down with it, but I can already tell you that my girlfriend would have not part of any type of camping unless it was outside of the mall.

that would be pretty cool. I have already started planning a guys camping trip with my buddies. Last year we went to Hoosier National Forest on Lake Celina...we are wanting to stay in the state this year so we don't have to buy another fishin lis.

Show a country gal a toilet that flushes and she's changed forever. At least as best I can figure, that's what happened to mine.

Sounds like this would be fun but my hiking days ended when I left the Military,,,,I will stay and guard the camp though with a few barley pops while you guys hike the hills...

What I would like to do is make a loop or something. Hike for several miles stop set up camp then the next day hike set up camp then hike home. Not real strenuous just easy walking.

I'm with ya. I'd happily guard the camp and ensure the cooler was lighter than it was when we got there!! ;)
