Yesterday after I got back to Owensboro I decided to go get my trail camera out of the woods and change the card and check batteries. I just drove from Bowling Green so I was wearing a bright red shirt, blue jeans, white hat. I heard some rustlin over a ridge about 40 yards away, I knew if it was turkeys they would be gone in a heart beat if they saw me, I stood out like a turd in a punch bowl. Well, I crept to the top of the ridge and there was about 25 turkeys that I counted and a few long beards draggin the ground. They walked towards me and got about 25 yards away before they just took their sweet time walking away. I waited till they were out of site before I continued on. I don't know if these birds have ever been hunted, I am the only one that turkey hunts on this property and I don't think anybody else has EVER hunted turkeys on this property. I couldn't believe they didn't run or fly off, it was awesome and now my blood is really pumpin waitin on season!! I got that rush just being their watchin them that close!! Probably won't see a bird once season comes in, if I don't im going huntin in the same red shirt, jeans, and white hat!:D

That is a great looking gun. I really like the pistol grip handle, and I think it really makes the gun easier to hold up for long periods of time.

Thanks, thinking of a cheap camo job to put on it. The game tracker camo stencil kit you can get at uncle lees?

Does the pistol grip make it sort of an assault gun?:D

I seen something in cabela's spring catalog that I'm thinking about getting and putting on one of my guns. I forget what its called but its right by the turkey calls. It's a camo sleeve that you put over your gun and then blowdry it and it shrinks up to fit your particular gun. It looked pretty neat. I'm gonna try it. It's only like $12 for a sleeve.
