This past weekend I spent the weekend with my dad. Over where he lives is kinda back off in the woods. It's back far enough that deer have walked right up to our garage and went INSIDE it. Well this past saturday I woke up and seen all the snow we had. My dad and I got to talkin bout puttin out a little patch of clover or something. I use to put corn out and it would be gone in 2 days. Well I kinda got this urge to get up and go walking around. So I did, I walked around in the woods for probally an hour an a half. I followed deer tracks for a while. Then found some dog tracks followed them. I actually went and crawled up in a ol latter stand for about 5 minutes. I'm 17 years of age and I think I enjoy doing this more then anything. So my question is do you take the time to take you'r kid's or friends out in the woods just to see what you discover. It's sad to say my parents don't my stepdad hunts but usally dont set a foot into the woods unless he is hunting. When it's not cold my dad and I will take long walks in the woods. But other then that, they never get out. So please do me a favor, take anybody you can at anytime you can and just show them stuff and explain things to them.

I agree, I try to get out and walk the woods around here as often as I can. You can learn alot about the area and what use's it when the snow is on!
