I like the primos jellyhead.
works great in my mossberg 835.
i imagine they make one to fit the remington

i have a few extra chokes for your 1187 i have extra full turkey chokes most are extended tubes so if your interested Pm and we'll work something out

If you shoot hevishot, go with the .675 choke. Briley makes a good one. Otherwise, the rem super full turkey choke, the rem ventilator, or the kicks gobbling thunder at .655 work well.
