Im gettin sick of Nascar not following their own rules:mad: The rules plainly state that the field is to be frozen at the time of the wreck! It was crazy dangerous, 4-5 seconds of wrecking and people racing to the checkered:rolleyes: Nascar has been dodging the bullet all day, I wonder if their gonna step up and admit they screwed up,again!
NASCAR has been tripping over thier own feet since the death of Sr.

I wouldent be so aggrevated if they consistantly enforced the rules. They cant do anything consistantly anymore. Listning to a Nascar talk show today and by the letter of the rule the field should have been frozen. Their were people racing to the checkered all thru the wreckage. They froze it last year at Talladaga?? Why didnt they do it this year at Daytona?
My reasoning is that NASCAR is more concerned with the show and $$$ then they are for safety and being "fair". IMO, when they red flagged the race to clean up something that wasn't there showed that they wanted a green flag finish come hell or high water. They make the rules and they enforce them. There's no checks and balances.

NO WHERE does it state that field is frozen at the time of the wreck. Field is frozen at the yellow caution flag. There is a difference.

You dont stop racing till you see that yellow flag or that little yellow light inside your car goes off indicating a caution. Never give up.

Replays showed had they thrown the caution as soon as it happened, Harvick woulda still won. I was for Martin BTW!

I was pulling for MM too, just like I have for the last 11 yrs,but depending on when they called the caution,Harvawreck would've won. Na$cars consistancy is what ticks me off

That is exatly right Ateup. They do NOT have to throw the caution until they deem it necessary. Granted, you would think they would have, but the rule is that while UNDER CAUTION the field is frozen. Until the caution actually lights.....you keep on racing. Mark Martin said as much last night when he stated, "I didn't get the job done." Pure class from the most respected current driver in Nascar.
