I looked at it this morning. It's going to be a great week. They are calling for alot of rain this week and a cold front saturday afternoon. I wish it would hit about 85 and stay thier

I would like the 85 as well, nothing like the hot weather for me....cold weather sucks, if I could afford to move to a warmer climate I would..... 4 Life...:D

I welcome the warm weather, but frown upon all the mud that is going to come from this warmth. It is going to get messy in a hurry with the ground thawing and snow melting. Feeding the cows will be more of a chore than it already is wading through the mud and muck.:(

I'll have to agree with you 100% on this one. I wish it would stay 80-85 all year around. I don't mind deer hunting in the heat either.

You guys that want it to be 85 all year round have obviously never spent 10 hours a day running in and out of the back of one of those big brown trucks..:D 85 means 125.

I've only got 2 horses, but all the ground around the barn and feed area is nothing but ankle-deep mud:mad:

Can you guys get your hands on some saw dust, might cost some $, but I bet it'd help trudging through that mud easier...Lay it down and thick like where you walk should help I believe.....

I am thinking about using straw to soak up some of this mess and keep my horses feet out of the mud as much.

sawdust is the ticket if you can get it hauled in. Works much better than straw

I've got a big area to cover, but their is a sawmill about 20 miles away. I wonder what a load of sawdust is going for?

Don't know who to contact about it, but there is this big pile of shredded up/mulched material sitting about 20 yards or so off the Seatonville Road near Bardstown Road. A bank is going to be built on the area, but hard telling what their going to do with the pile of mulch. Muust be about 20 feet tall and about as big around as a small house... Just giving info in case someone might be able to use something like this.... G/L with the mud....
