i have never leased a place for just turkey hunting before.i now have a place that is available for turkey only it is 300 ac.what is a fair price for hunter and land owner???

i just saw an ad in the paper some guy was willing to pay $2-$5 per acre for a spring lease...

It really depends on the quality of the turkey hunting in the area and the topgraphy of the land.

If it was prime, had good neighbors, and it suited your hunting style, it could be worth up to $5-6/acre. A fair price for you to give the farmer would be $3/acre.

thanks guys.i had no clue as what to offer them.i do however think the place will work out and it is in one of the best counties in tenn.
