What ever you do do not go unless you have a box call. The terrian is wide open and the sounds carries well. I hunted in Eldorado last year i had the typical locator calls and was out of luck. make sure you take a coyote call. I heard no owls and saw 1 or 2 crows. good luck i loved it.
Depending on many factors the snakes can be a real issue. In some years in some places you just cannot get comfortable about them; one year we left two days early after seeing and sitting around a dozen plus a day..in he wind and higher grass you cannot see or hear them. Snake chaps or legggings would be a must in some areas in some years. In several years of Texas hunting I am not sure I was ever able to make a bird shock gobble to any non-turkey sound after fly-down(and I think I am the king of shock-gobble production on easterns) 2 cents.
