i sighted my thompson black diamond in last week using pyrodex powder and i was thinking about switching to the pellets, will this make my gun shoot any different?

It probably will. The pellets burn faster than a regular powder charge. By it burning faster, it will probably flatten your trajectory a little. I would shoot the pellets to see what it does.

Anytime you change anything about your load setup you need to try it out and resight your gun. it could change it somewhat or drastically.

i also shoot a black dimond i use 777 50/50 pellets with a295gr
powerbelt ballist tip as far as shots 1"group at 100yds and cleaning my gun is so much easier now that use 777 i'll never shoot any other powder again.
