43 points in the first half and only 26 in the second plus OT and no D in the second equalls a L. And why did the Tub leave Morris in with 4 minutes to go in the first with a 17 point lead and 3 fouls, espeacially since they played much better without him in the first half by speeding up the game.

Tubby will say, I expected us to loose this one, I just had a feeling that we would find a way .

I had a really strong gut feeling going into halftime that they were in trouble. Don't know why. I am completely convinced that Randy McCoy who coached at Elkhorn City and Pikeville College would be a better coach than Orlando. Anyone know Randy???

I frequent alot of the UK messsage boards, Catspause, bigbluefaithful, scout.com etc etc. And the Tubby supporters have dwindled down to a very small, faithful amount. But aftre the Vandy game and now tonight, even some of the Tubby faithful jumped off the wagon tonight. People I never dreamed would jump ship, guys that have campaigned for Tubby religiously over the years.
looks like ALOT of season ticket holders and donors are fed up, and the atmosphere has turned to mounting a campaign. I personally thought Tubby would be here as long as he desired, but it looks like the heat is getting hotter. We will see.

I was going to post "Imagine how much farther you could drop in 2 more years under Tubby" but then figured I'd get "To Louisville's level!" as a reply.;)

In all seriousness.....In the mid 90's Tobacco Road didnt have crap on this state with respect to basketball....UofL and Kentucky was basketball central.....Boy it sure is a long way to the top from where we are now!

We need to bring the state back to prominence. Where the final four comes through Louisville and Lexington again.

I didn't watch the game, but I looked at the box score. UK got out rebounded by 16 boards. That shouldn't happen. UG had 17 offensive rebounds, UK had 24 rebounds.

I will be just as happy seeing Louisville go to the final 4 this year as I would UK.

The defense was crap. How many times did guys get easy buckets underneath with 2 or 3 guys on them?? It was at least 10 times in the second half. The things we really missed last night was Bradley's points and Morris' rebounds.

I still don't know if I like Joe Crawford's game or not.. He can put up some points but he also shoots damn near everytime he touches the ball. I don't care if he scores 30 points a game, we can't beat people if he's taking 80% of the shots. It's funny because if Crawford takes a bad shot, the announcers don't even care, like his back to back air balls last night, BUT if someone else does it then they jump all over them for make a poor decision..

Well it is not going to get any easier the rest of the way out. Florida, Tennessee, etc. and we are already in 4th place in the SEC East. Please somebody stop the torture of "Tubby Ball". It seems to me that I have seen these kind of performances in years past. I mean... poor rebounding, poor shooting, going for several minutes without scoring, free throws... Kinda sounds like a trend to me. Yeah, a Tubby Trend! Time's up, time to move on to someone else.

Doesn't he have contract through 2010 or 2011. How many times last night did Georgia get the rebound off of a missed shot when UK's defense had caused Georgia to almost have a shot clock violation?? They even got rebounds off of missed foul shots.

How many uncontested dunks and layups did they have?

An ESPN analyst said just last week that this might be the best defensive team Tubby has ever had. The only offensive thing about them is how they play:rolleyes:

Yep, it was due to expire this year, but for some reason Barnyard extended it after one of our poor seasons. the funny thing is, according to Tubbys contract, he will receive a 1 mill $ bonus after this year.
The good news is, if he was fired they only have to pay him 1mill for each year he has left. So they would owe him 4mill instead of the 9 mill that he has remaining on his contract.
