Ditto the one in Fulton county which was previously mentioned. I would tend to be suspect of any from counties that are totally removed(by many miles) from the "in zone" counties. These "elk" assuming they were elk(telechecked?), had to have originated from some other source. Hey, I realize that they move a great deal more than whitetails, but 400 miles seems quite a stretch.

This happened last year with an Elk from Jessamine Co. I called Tina Brunjes myself and she said it was a mistake. That does not mean that the Pendleton elk is not a mistake. There are others that were harvested in Garrard and Adair too.

I live in northern Pendleton county and every year for the past several years I have been helping as an RMEF volunteer. Robinson Forest is 150 miles from my house, its a good way, but not impossible for a few to be this far north.

I was really refering to the Fulton county kill, Fulton being in extreme Southwest Kentucky and not very far from my home in West Tennessee. I acknowledged that they move some pretty good distances, but 400 miles does seem a bit far.:)
