Counted 40 cows and 1 bull together last sunday as I was driving home
from deer hunting. Seeing lots of elk. Talked to a couple of guys today
while deer hunting who ran into a elk hunter who had spent almost a week now on his cow hunt without success. They were directing him to another
area where they have been seeing elk. Hope he had better luck.
