Why F&W raise trap license cost to $17.50 ??

With the low fur market prices, discouraging trapping already,
Why did Ky F&W increase trapping license to $17.50???
With legislators discussing a "Bounty to control beavers" and the F&W "realization" of the predation impact on our small game ( rabbits, quail, grouse, turkey) due to fur bearer over populations.
Has Ky F&W discussed lowering the cost of trapping license to encourage trapping?
How about Youth Trapping License?? Kids not required to have fishing license, pay $8.00 for a Youth hunting license , but, has to pay $17.50 to trap??
Is Ky F&W trying to completely end trapping in Kentucky??

Valley great question, the same thing happened with bird permits that's one reason no one could find birds this year. Our growers got feed up. One would think the hunters would get help instead of hindrance.
