I had a good time as well. I hope Great White and Dead Eye can come to. You guys are the future of this sport as well as this country. It does the ole Xtreme mans heart good to see you young guys and gals participate and promote this sport that we love!!
I'm proud of Great White for taking an interest in his little step brother. Im sure "Dead Eye" will greatly benefit from it. It's just something about a young person who has a smile as wide as their bow is long that makes my day!!!.....See ya this weekend and Pass it On!!!

Didn't make it to Chickasaw needed to do some stuff around the house.
After finally finding my way out of the Nolin area we made it to E-town. Got a string for my bow.

Hey Xtreme
After putting that new string on my bow I think the draw length has changed a little(gotten longer.) But I think I've picked up a few more pounds cause my pin gap got smaller. I'm even more pleased with it now. I shot whitetails 15 target practice range and did well. They don't count X's its just 10X But I shot a 144 with 7 x's. I'm thinking about super gluing that darn rest cause it vibrated loose again on about the 5th target. Great White and I may shoot Eastern Ky archery on Sunday.

That's good. Tell Nathan Frisby I said hi!!. The next time youre down here I'll give you a better rest.
I'm probably not gonna shoot if a couple of my friends get drawn for Knox this weekend I'm gonna run a camera.

Good to hear. Me and the family are doing fine. Hope all is well with you and yours.
It's been too hot to sleep, too dry to fish, too humid to work, so I'm just sitting around waiting on squirrel season.
Xtreme, I just spent another day hanging around with some UBK folks. That is twice in a month. I'm starting to want to dress up like a bush and set up in a tree. Is that normal? <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

The number is (606)783-3184. Glad to hear your back in buisness(in the archery department). I hated to hear about your cabin, did you get it back in shape. Some people just don't have anything better to do than to cause trouble. Looks like I'm not going to have my one wheeler togeather by opening weekend. Last I heard my limbs were being painted, shouldn't be too much longer. Thanks to Xtreme I have a spare. Don't know what I'd do without the old fart[:D]

Just after making that post I went down to the shop thats taking care of me and they had my limbs in. They said that it should be put togeather tomorrow."I would hope so." Hopefully they won't have me all screwed up.[V] I have that kind of luck sometimes. The little nova shoots great. I'm going to miss the speed. but I like that 80%let off. I plan on buying another single cam here in the near future give me some suggestions and when would be the best time to buy. Hook me up with a deal. Is october when the new bows come out???
P.S. you didn't posibly think that I "shot the wheels off the little nova" did you. I don't think its possible.[:D]

yep! got it all togeather today and shot it at whitetail archery range. Its shootin alright I guess. Its kind of hard to put a bow togeather when you really don't have the space to paper tune and what not. I'd tend to say that our RA's would get pretty up-tight if they heard we were shooting in our dorm rooms.[:D]
Give me a holler I'll be around. If not leave a message or something.

Xcutter: Set it up center shot and it will shoot. It may not be a perfect paper tear but my experiences with one wheelers is that they group the best when set even with the plunger hole near nock level Vertical and split the riser L/R. horizontal.
Shoot er at twenty and then at 40. If you bang nocks at both yardages you are good to go!
X Cutter, it's been done in Cooper hall before

Your talking a little over my head [?]But I think that I've got the general idea. I was proud of myself I lined everything up as best as i could remember and it shot about 2 inches high at 20 yards. I was expecting to lose an arrow. It looks like my arrows are flying good. It groups fine so I probably won't even bother with paper tuning.
P.S. How was your and Tammy's trip to West Virginia. How'd you shoot? Happy hunting this deer season I hope to see another good video.[:D]

KGWB forgot to mention that I ran the camera all weekend and it was a sucess. I videoed Grassblade(my girlfriends little brother) He shot one on sunday morning. Made a less than Perfect shot but the Rocket miniblaster did the trick. I'm going to have to check my sights because I shot about 5 inches high on a doe and about the same on a turkey[:(!] If that sight has moved I'm going to epoxy the whole thing.[:D]I'm not saying that it wasn't human error though.
Good luck to ya

Tell Grassblade my hearty congrats. X, if you have a flatliner, which I think you do and it is moveing on you slide the bar out and rough it just a little with a file. This will help the jaws "grab it" a little better. Good luck. Keep an eye on KGWB.

I'll tell Grassblade. The problem with my sight is that the jaws are all the way togeather and it still shifts I'm going to try taking a file to the jaws so it will close tighter.

Xtreme I gave him the sight but he had to work the next day so we didn't have the time to line it out. I walked him through it and he should be able to figure it out. If not I'll be home this weekend. GW ain't kiddin about the turkeys, their thick. Your guess is as good as mine. To date, I've only seen 9 deer from the stand in about 12 or 13 outings. At this time last year I was beating em off with a stick. Its been hard hunting and its only going to get harder as muzzle loader and gun seasons pass. I'm hoping things will start looking better when it cools down. MAN I CAN'T WAIT TILL IT COOLS DOWN A LITTLE!!! I bet I've lost 10 pounds climbing these hills. Last year I saw one turkey while deer hunting. This year I've allready saw at least 25. Its hard to get a shot off at them Dudes.
