If someone got one in Fulton it got loose from a pen, either that or I need to quit driving to Prestonburg and take a thirty minute trip down the parkway!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wademup :: In case you dont know where Fulton Co. is . it is as far west as you can go and not be in Tennesse or Missouri!!!

I wish we could get em on this end of the state but I can only imagine what 40 elk would do to a standing cornfield!!!!

I saw a cow elk taken in Pulaski, talked to the guy myself, with the elk in the back of his truck. Wonder why it isn't on the list yet. He told me he had already checked it in and the game warden had removed its ear tag and told him it was a stocked elk, and what state it came from.

actually it's not all that improbable. KNowing how the land lays it would be very easy for one to follow the cumberland river into Cumberland County and then from there Adair is very short walk and NOrthern Cumberland and Southern Adair are rough areas. Won't be long and these things will be if not wiped out by the zone at large able to run all through adair, casey, lincoln, clinton.
Makes me want to hunt down that way more and do some serious bugeling. I might have to give up deer hunting next year just to try it. NAH. I hate draggin out a deer and cant imagine how tough it would be to drag out an elk.

Just amazes me how far these animals move. For every one that is shot, there has to be several more that are not killed.
I deer hunt a lot in Boyle and I am sure those elk are close to there. Not to mention bear, cougar, and other critters!!!
