this happened last week at my local game club those that know me know where i am talking about but there were lets say arab americans ? maybe ???at the rifle range shooting a variety of guns was shooting my rifle and my dad was spotting me on it.. and one of those fellers decided they were gonna make a hole in a five gallon bucket lid...well he lays it on the ground behind the shooting line and fires two shots straight in the ground with a 9mm..well my ole man didnt take it too well as i didnt either but how can you even trust those folks it wasnt a pleasant feeling hearing a shot going off behind me by a feller like that,, i have suggested they be banned as soon as i figure out who they might be..

I would have something done about that. Not because they are arab, but because that is dangerous and I am sure it is agnist the rules of the gun range.

I'm assuming where you're from i can guess where the club is. If its the one I'm thinking about, you shouldnt have any problem getting them banned. That stunt sure aint on the list of do's and dont's
I know where it's at. That's not good, I wouldn't go back there if they are there too.

Not familiar with firing ranges. Can someone explain what they did? I didnt really understand. I know he said they fired behind the firing line, but not sure why this is such a big deal.

tell mertz......everything will be fine......if that guy was actually a member and not a guest, or just a trespasser. if his name is on any paperwork there he will get his. the game club board should not tolerate that kind of unsafe act.

The firing line is where you stand and fire all your weapons downrange of the line. You can't fire behind the line because there are people in front of you. I was down range once at Knob creek setting up targets during an all safe, when a shot rang out. Some idiot punk dressed up in a German military uniform was shooting his mauser or whatever it was. I hollered at him and he said, "My bad." There are morons everywhere.

I used to belong to a gun club in Ohio. They had to eventually shut down the rifle range after some @#$@% were handling/shooting inappropriately and some bullets were raining down on a farm a mile away. Made it pretty much pointless to stay a member so I dropped out. I always thought that it was interesting that there were bullet holes in the ceiling.
One time when the warning lights and buzzer was going to let everyone know that somebody is down range this guy decides to start looking through his rifle down range like he is scoping things out. There were people down there and this other guy who was next to me blew a gasket and was yelling at that guy like you wouldn't believe. The careless gun handler left shortly after that.
