Florida squeaks one out AT HOME to an unranked South Carolina team. They were a blocked field goal away from being a 2 loss team. And Auburn gets DEMOLISHED AT HOME by an unranked Georgia team. Now everyone will say that SC and Georgia are as good as WVU, Rutgers, and UL. U of L's road loss to a top 15 team in a fairly tough, loud enviroment doesn't seem that bad. Kentucky is just about as good as any SEC team. They played Florida TOUGH in the swamp and dominated the first half. Florida is weak. At the beginning of the season I said that Auburn was one of the most overrated teams in the country.

I'll make it plainer for you, what do you hope to accomplish for Louisville by trying to put down the SEC? You can hypothetically imagine how great UL is and how much better the Big Least is all you want, but the fact remains that other than a couple teams UL DOES NOT PLAY THE QUALITY OF SEC TEAMS on a regular basis. If you want respect let the cards keep earning it on the field instead of trying to be better than BIG BROTHER and their conference.

What does U of L have to do with Florida and Auburn being overrated?

Here is just my opinion. Your title doesnt really make sense. It is not like Auburn was destroyed by a PAC 10 team or Florida squeaked out a close one against a Big Ten team. One of the reasons the SEC is so big and bad is that there are a number of quality teams. From top to bottom the SEC is the best conference in football. People have been talking all year about how hard it is for a team from the SEC to win a Nat'l Championship because of the depth of talented teams.

That being said, I think that Louisville and WVU would stack up nicely in the SEC, as would Rutgers. None would be undefeated if they played in the SEC, but all would be above .500. That is respectable for an SEC team.

I definitely agree that the SEC is the best conference from top to bottom and everything else that you said. But, my point is that Florida and Auburn aren't top 10 teams. Top 10 teams don't get blown out at home against an unranked team (Auburn), or come down to a blocked field goal against an unranked team (Florida). They have 5 teams that are above average (Florida, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee) but none that are exceptional. I respect the SEC for their depth. I just hate it when teams are rated for their name and not their play.

You just described U of L......haven't beat anybody this year, and only a couple of teams in the past few years that had winning records. Most teams in the SEC would beat Rutgers most any day. Rutgers is not big time football, neither is L.

Not the Big East that's for sure.

Or the SEC. Or any conference as a whole. Things are changing.

#1. UK is not REMOTELY close to "just about as good as anybody in the SEC". They got beat 52-0 by LSU, and 4 SEC teams are ranked above LSU. 52-0 isn't close to......." AS good" in anybodys book.

#2. UK only scored 7 points on Flor, they scored 4 times that against UL. So I guess if Flor is weak, UL is 4 times as weak according to your logic.

UK scored 7 against Flor, o against LSU, thats 7 points in two games. They scored 4 times that on UL.

I. Top 10 teams don't come down to a blocked field goal against an unranked team (Florida). .

What about Rutgers, do you think they are a top 10 team?
I know you do. Well they beat Central Flor 22-20.
Where I come from, a 3 point win against South Carolina is alot more impressive than a 2 point win against Central Flor.
I believe Rutgers also has a 6 point win against a bad North Carolina.
Your biased beyond belief.

Obviously he knows nothing about Steve Spurrier,South Carolina may not be having a stellar year, but they are dangerous in any game.
