So I got this new job running a truck delivering meats and poultry around the area to grocery stores and restaurants. Here's my dilemna. The job only requires myself to work 3 days a week....monday, wednesday and friday. Keep in mind this is fulltime in both pay and benefits just like working a 5 day week. The days I do work are long....4am-whenever the route is finished, the truck is empty and washed out.
My question is....What would you guys do with the extra free time?
1-----get a gravy part-time/side job
2-----hunt, fish and enjoy the days off

ecm.......... I see your delimma but I sure would'nt mind that problem. I'm salary... dont get OT..probably average 50 hours a week and on call 24/7. I also do some side jobs throughout the year. I've been doing this for twenty plus years and I'm at a point now that time with family , hunting & fishing is a pretty valuable commodity.
If financially your "ok" with what your making and extra income is not really necessary..... I would opt to enjoy my days off and do the things I wanted to do.
If I had longterm goals of purchasing property, home , kids college than I would opt for a filling those times with something that made me some extra cash.
Everone has different goals, prorities and circumstances that make us do the things we do.

I say try to come up with a home based business where you could work whenever you wanted to. Unless you're hurting for money, I wouldn't sign up for another "regular" job.

If I was set financially, I would enjoy the time off. Life is to short. You don't know what tomorrow will bring. Enjoy it while you can. You could even do some volunteer work when it's raining.;)

I'd be in the woods or on the water every chance I got. If you don't need the extra money enjoy yourself! Hell, I'm trying to find a job like that!

I would go for a combination of 1 and 2. When the hunting and fishing are good take those days off. When its not so good, look for some extra work.

once you find one of those "gravy" part time jobs, let me know. I've been looking for a while, lol! I only work 3 days a week too. ;)

I would try to get that 3 day week cut down to a 2 day week so I would have an extra day to hunt :D
