Anybody hear any details about the out of zone bull that was Telchecked from Caldwell County?

There was a guy from here that killed a bull, bet he put the wrong county down.

Caldwell County is a perty far piece for a bull to be out of zone I would think.......Thats up above Princeton about 30-40 miles north east of Eddyville.....

Hey it might be possible if one escaped from LBL swam across barkley lake and meandered thru either Lyon or trigg counties to wind up in caldwell county:rolleyes: or he could of walked down the trace and over the canal bridge.

They are still showing one Bull Elk harvested with a firearm in Caldwell County as of today on the KDFW website.....

There was one killed in Madisonville about 9 or 10 years ago on the By-Pass. So it could be possible.

It was a elk someone had as a pet and it got out.

That explanation makes more sense. I was having trouble believing that a free-ranging elk ended up in Madisonville. Thanks for explaining.

Looks like the cauldwell co elk telcheck was a mistake they have updated the Elk harvest results and it no longer shows up...
