Ky Afield 10-14 Elk Hunts

Just got done watching Ky Afield on the Elk Hunting. It makes me want to put in for a tag next year. I like the camping and get together of the hunters, wish I could get involved to learn about Elk hunting.

I watched that last night. On the second hunt did anyone else think his first shot hit the ground.

The elk are dirty. They wallow in the dirt and mud. When they are hit, it makes a dirt cloud. Not sure about that shot, but the second one was on for sure.

Looks to me like that shot hit way in front of the elk in the dirt. Awesome follow up shot though. Great show. I was surprised they could get that show edited and aired so quickly after the hunt. Great job people. It's almost cow time. I can't wait.

I saw it and thought that it was a miss also. But I think that if it was they would have edited it out.

i also saw that i was like wow he missed that elk big time
then after he shot it the second time they replayed that shot and not both of them...guess he got nervous....reminded me of that jeff foxworthy deer hunt he missed a monster buck by like 20 foot low...then connected on the 2nd shot...i guess both of them can say they had antler fever

I taped it and replayed it several times, sure looks like a miss to me. Doesn't matter after that second shot though. Thing hit the ground like it was hit with lightning.:eek:
