Seeing a lot of small poults around my place. Looks like a real late hatch this year. Most are no bigger than chickens. Did this morning see a gobbler flock of six in a nearby hay field tho and they were not small..

May sit in a blind Monday with 3-4 decoys out front. Probably try to mimic a good 'ol turkey fight. Too dern hot to deer hunt for me.

Sunday, I saw 4 hens with 11 poults and 2 hens with 5 poults. 3 gobblers in a group together. Our hatch was down this year. We had a lot of rain at the wrong time early in the year. We will normally have 4 to 5 bunches of poults each year.
