I got an old(dont know the year) Remington Model 1100 16 gauge shotgun. I am trying to figure out if this gun will shoot slugs? The barrel is not rifled. Do you think that i can shoot slugs with it? Thanks!

Absolutely.More open chokes, i.e. improved cylinder, tend to shoot best.

just make sure you buy rifled slugs it won't thorw sabots at all. As stated above use your ic choke if you don't have one modified is the next best. Get a b-square mount and put a little 2x7 and you'll be ready in no time.
