Awhile back I picked up a Taurus 38 snub with the blueing in pretty bad shape. I bought it because it was in solid condition, just had worn blue from lots of carry and a little bit of what appears to be just black paint where someone tried to touch up some of the blue. Basically it looks like it was carried all over, but not shot all that much.
The price was a steal so I picked it up for dirt cheap. Turns out it is a really nice shooter.
I actually want to keep the ugly thing because it is so nice of a shooter, but would like to spiff it up some, does anyone know a good Lexington area 'smith that could strip it down and re-blue it for a reasonable price.
