Thanks

Everything is great Rick, just been awful busy. With the weather starting to finally break a bit, we've been planting flowers and remulching and mowing grass and all kinds of great outdoor stuff. Then we took the kids to PA to spend spring break with the grandparents. While they were gone, and with the rain spoiling our original outside plans, we decided to tear apart the dining room and remodel it. Should be done sometime this week, has to be done before the kids come home Saturday.

The Easter Bunny forgot about me too. All I got was frozen pizza and a bill from Lowe's for Easter, hahaha.

Might get down there myself, even though I don't shoot traditional - yet. If I do, it will be on Saturday. Maybe I can finally get to meet some of you guys in person.

Got you there Mr. Bowhunter.....My 5 days are as follows: work all day Thursday and Friday setting targets, practice area, booth, tents, concessions. Saturday and Sunday, work all day on sign ups, raffles, and general management. Monday work all day on take down and clean up.

You might want to just try Saturday and Sunday, those are the best days.

Brian, I'd be glad to do name tags that could be passed out to kentuckyhunting.com users so they could be identified in the crowd. Everyone could just pick them up at the Pulaski Bowhunters booth. We could even provide some chairs and space under a shelter if everyone wanted a short get-together for coffee or something. Mid-afternoon on Saturday would be good. Anyone interested?

Directions to Klassic are as follows: Coming from the west on Cumberland Parkway, take the Nancy exit go east, through Nancy, past the apple orchard, about one mile Pulaski Park Road will be on the left. If you reach Fishing Creek Bridge you have gone too far.

Coming I-75 from the North, take the Mt. Vernon/Renfro Valley exit, turn right, and follow Hwy. 461 to Hwy. 80 West. Coming on I-75 from the South, take the Second London exit to Hwy. 80 West. Both directions then take Hwy. 80 West to Somerset. Pass through several stoplights to the Intersection with Hwy. 27 (where the restaurant strip is) proceed west on through this intersection. Go through one more stop light. Then get in left lane and look for the cut-over to old 80 (there will be a sign for Pulaski Park) Once you get onto old 80 going west, proceed about 6 miles and look for Pulaski Park on the right, if you get to Nancy you have gone too far.

It is real easy to find.

Saturday is usually the big day. Sign up for the 3D course is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with the range to be clear by 6:00 pm. Sunday range hour sign up from 8:00 a.m. to noon and clear by 3:00 p.m. Shooters raffle and closing at 3:30 p.m. Shoot fee is $20 regardless of when you sign up, and this provided unlimited rounds of shooting limited to one arrow per target per round. Youth 12 and under shoot free. So it is to the shooters advantage to come early and stay late.

Vendors booths are open the entire time. Usually there is a bluegrass jam session, never know when it is going to happen but best bet is Saturday night.

Our club is about 80% compound shooters and 20% traditional. This is a fun event even for the compound shooters who don't shoot the range as it is a great opportunity just to visit, browse the booths and have a general good time in an beautiful outdoor setting.

Hope to see you there.

Guess no one's interested in the name tags so we'll scratch that idea.
