I have seen them at bass pro but they are synthetic, I am looking for wood like what is already on there, this is a premier model so the wood is really nice, I don't want to bring the value of the gun down.
Watch e-bay. They have one for another hour at $13.
trust me

Is it possible to repair the fore end? You can coat the inside with epoxy or even fiberglass material and make it stronger than before. I've got an old gun with the fore end pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle, all held together with epoxy behind it. If you look, you can see the joints, but it works.

The forend is cracked about half way down from the barrel end, I had a gunsmith tell me about the apoxy but was wondering about how difficult a repair it would be and how it would look. I only use this gun shooting clay pigeons or maybe some doves, it gets used about 3 or 4 times a year.

I don't know how the fore end was cracked, but if it was from normal use, I would call Remington if you haven't already. This seems to be a fairly common problem with 11-87s and I know of a couple that they have replaced for no charge. Depending on how old your shotgun is, it would be worth a try.
