Website Downtime

I just wanted to pass along the cause of the recent Down Time (Sunday night into Monday).

The server that this website is on was on the losing side of a Denial of Service Attack from the Interent.

Quickly though ..... some idiot with no time on his/her hands sent so many requests to the webserver that the server was unable to respond. (Actually the requests came from a few hundred different IP addresses)

The only way to resolve the problem was to move the site to a different IP address.

I was in Louisville (with my sweet little wife at the state fair) when I got a call on my cell phone this morning that the server was not working right.

Some of our web stores are on the same server and suffered the same fate, but needless to stay the bossman wanted the stores working before kentucky hunting (sorry guys) ... [:I]

It wasn't corrected on here until late Monday evening.

Chad i can tell you i was getting the shakes i try to log onto this site every day even if just to read up...not being able to log on and catch up...makes me have those buck fever shakes lol
and i dont like either of them lol
but still have to learn how to control,breathe SLLLLLLOWLY

I too was having mega withdraw. But I can quit anytime!
