They are no longer made, so the price depends on who has it and who wants it and how bad they want it.

Browning doesn't make their A-Bolt shotgun anymore as they couldn't sell enough of them plus they had stiff competition from cheaper brands. You might consider buying their Gold Deer Hunter shotgun. I have one in 20 gauge and it is very accurate, just top it with a 2-7 power Leupold shotgun scope, sight it in with Remington "Buckhammers" and your good to go.

I don't know about the Browning, but typical bolt action shotguns kick like two mules! Could be why they aren't popular.

You might be very well right about the recoil factor. I once had a Savage M-210 Slug Gun in 12 gauge and it's recoil was terrible!!! You might say these "High-end" slug guns will hut you in two places: Your wallet & Shoulder, as the cost of the ammo @ between $12 to $15 per FIVE shells (sabots) and the price of a quality Shotgun with a rifled slug barrel.

I have one. It is the synthetic model with the rifled barrel. It is in absolutely perfect condition. Would part with it for $600.00..

Blue book 100% at 435.00 60% at 220.00.Mfg date 95-98.Add 25.00 for open sights,100.00 for rifled barrel.
