Anybody use these? There was a guy telling my that is all he would shoot. I got them in 325wsm 180grn. I know I sure paid enough for them. I think they should do the trick just fine!

is that the same as winchester silvertip I use to get them and they seem to shoot good for me and put the deer down real good.
Dead is dead.

Not the same as the old Winchester Silvertips, they are like the Nosler Ballistic Tip except have a moly coating and a silver tip.
I've used them for the past 4 years in a 7mmwsm, they work good on deer but I'm not sure I would use them on larger animals. I think they expand to fast with alot of velocity and looking at the damage on some of those front shoulders I'd say they come apart pretty bad.

I think the box said something about Winchester and Nosler working together to make the new silvertip. Anybody know about the accubond?

The accubond is basically a "cross" between the Nosler Partition and the Ballistic Tips, mixed reports on them, I'd (if using a "bonded bullet") use the Hornady Interbond IF they shot well in my guns, better buy for the $$$ and from what I can find out better overall results as well! Though in all honesty, I don't see any need for "bonded" (or Barnes for that matter) in standard(non-magnums rifles) for deer sized game.....
Obviously in mags and especially at "close range" they make sense even for deer , just don't think so in standard chamberings...

I should add the "heavy for caliber" ballistic tips are heavier jacket and made for bigger/tougher animals, for example the 180 and > .308 and the .338 are all for that purpose as I understand it.......though *I* would still prefer the Partition for large/tough game (Elk and even Moose IF I ever get to hunt them that is) :)
Also some have "sectioned" the 120 grain 7mm and swear it's a heavy jacket as well (used by metal ram shooters thus needs to be "tougher" )

I use the 168gr load in my Rem 700 308. It is the rifle's preferred load, and has done a fine job on the deer I have taken.
