Those buttholes were picketing outside Rupp Arena tonight griping about animal cruelty in the circus. They had graphic pictures and posters showing beaten and bloody animals. Well, my son may only be 2 years old but he was asking about those pictues and "why are those animals were hurting?" GAME ON!! I walked over to one of those skinny punks and ripped his poster out of his hands and tore it up in front of everybody and then we all had some words. Long story short, the cops were there and there was a lot of screaming but I still managed to tear up a couple of those pictures. I ate an extra chicken sammich in their honor tonight. I HAAATE those bastards.

You want to stage some BS protest? Fine. DON'T do it in front of a bunch if innocent and naive children that have NO idea of what's going on or why some fat @#%&! is holding a giant picture of a bloody elephant in front of the circus.

I'm like Nitrox; i can't stand some busybody that goes out of her way to offend me or my family. As bad as that woman needed a good b***h slapping, you can't do it because you'll get dragged through the mud and she'll get a big settlement and the attention she craves. So you have to just walk on by and be satisfied with ripping her Dumbo picture.
I hope some Peta anti hunter never interferes with my day in the field. I could end up in prison.

But your actions were exactly what they want. PETA wants to have hunters, fishermen, ect to act in what they percieve as violent. They believe that their actions are justified because of the nature of our sport. When we take action against them is such a manner, they will say "See I told You". The display of graphic pictures, disturbing legal hunters and fishemen, damaging vechicles are designed to get that type of respone. I have been around these groups and it is very, very difficult not to get upset and take some type of action.
Maybe we can use this forum to discuss how we can best use our power of numbers when a like situtation happens again? What should we do? How would we best counter these demonstrations?

Sad to say, I had an encounter just like that about 12 years ago at the Kentucky State Fair. It was with the "Save the raptors" group or some such as that. The Ky. State Police were right next to them, it got loud and they came over. Some lady tried to convince me that hawks and owls ONLY went after the weak and sickly! After telling her that I had seen hawks and owls grab grouse, squirrels, and all manner of healthy animals, she wanted to argue the point with me. I told her she needed to spend more time outdoors to see what I had seen. It was about that time 5 to 6 ladies from behind there booth cme out with their teeth and claws showing! In hindsight, it was hilarious!
Way to go Nitrox, good job!
FOOTNOTE:Last year I shot a grouse, it fell on the other side of a low, steep point.I can't hear very well, but I heard large wingbeats on the ground that were'nt a grouse's. When I got around the point, no grouse, just feathers! So, some hawks and owls DO go after the weak! Also, a few years ago I jumped a grouse from a pine, then I thought I saw another right behind it, it was an owl on his tail! I got that grouse, but he was weakened by the owl!

I don't believe in taking kids to circuses. It's animal cruelty at its pinnacle. It would have been better to put a bullet in the bears head rather than tie his feet to a bicycle and beat them with a 2X4 to get him to pedal. Have you ever seen how they train those animals? It is absolutely unbelievable. They beat those animals senseless. Maybe I'm crazy but, no bear should ride a bicycle.

GOOD NEWS!! There were no bears. I guess they caught wind of Troy Gentrys antics and thought it better to leave them at home :D On a side note, my son never saw what happened. He was across the street watching a guy play the saxaphone for spare change.
