car fax is a rip off.a guy at work paid his 25 because it turned up 11 hits on the car .when he paid the 25 it came back zero nada nothing on the car.if you buy a car and have to replace say a transmission how would car fax ever know anything about it.

It is a joke, especially if you're a mechanic or bodyman. Insurance claims and Dealership work is where they get the info. If theres no report to the database,it will never show. A lease vehicle should be fine, but I wouldnt waste my money on a former rental car:eek:
