I worked 3rd shift once.. I used to go to school at Morehead after I got off work for 8:00 classes, that part sucked.. When school was out or the semester was over, I would go in work an hour early so I could get off an hour early to beat daylight at my hunting spot.. If they found out I had a rifle in my truck out in the parking lot, imagine the trouble.

I've worked third shift for years. I take off in advance for special days to hunt. Otherwise, I work 4 nights a week, so that leaves a lot of time for hunting!

I've been working third shift for almost 10 years now. I usually don't hunt much in the evenings during bow. Especially once the time changes and it's still dark when I get off in the mornings. Me and my buddies will get ready at work, we've got all our scent killers in our lockers, we'll get ready and run to the trucks heading for the deer stands.

I work 3rd shift too. I'm fortunate to get a little time on the computer. IT's nice to be able to hunt in the evenings during the week. But 3rd does kind of screw up your life somewhat. I have worked them for the most part of 5 years.

I work 16 hour shifts 3pm to 7 am. but I only work 14 days a month so I cannot complain. I have 7 days off in a row which helps during hunting time.:)
