Looking for ideas on a scope for a .270, $200.00 and under, any recamondations. I already have a idea of what I want just trying to compare.
What do you have in mind?

There is a guy on EBAY that has Burris FF II 3X9 with the balisitc plex for under $200. Cheaper than anyone I have seen. They are factory sealed and come with the Burris Warranty. This is the scope I would get if that was the price range. PM me and I will reply with his user name so you can look him up if you want. He also has the Burris 4.5X14 for around $260 with balistic plex. That's what I have on my .270 WSM except I paid $369 in Cableas.

Leupold , Sightron or Burris are great choices and you should be able to find them in your price range. Whittakers in Owensboro usually has some pretty good deals on optics.

For the money, a Leupold is one of my favorite's. They are bright and clear and well worth the dough.

I'm thinking Burris has a deal going now where you get a free spotting scope with the 3x9 ballistic plex scope. As someone said earlier check with Whittakers near Owensboro around $199 if I remember correctly. Tom

With a $200 price limit, you're wide open for quality optics. Plenty of good ones have been listed, so it is just a matter of what you prefer. Nikon, Burris, and Bushnell are my picks. Don't skimp on your optics... I have and it's bit me in the ass more than once (I'm a slow learner :D). Good optics make a good rifle shoot even better!
