Forgive my delayed response. spine means stiffness. When a bow goes off and propels the arrow it is like when a plane is shot off of a carrier deck. Things go from 0 to damn fast QUICK!!
The amount of spine dictates how the arrow will "flex " and then recover to go on and fly true. Spine was super critical when we shot bows "off the shelf" in traditional bows. The arrow had to curve around the riser and then go on to fly straight. Hence the term "Archers Paradox".
Spine seems to play a bigger part in how one wheelers shoot versus 2 wheelers. I think it is because most 1 wheelers actually "fire harder" coming off the release than a 2 wheeler. Just my theory.

Thanks again for the info. Xtreme, I'm sure I'll have many more in the future.

Xcutter, if you go to a few web pages like the Easton Archery page or Gold Tips page you will find charts that help you with the correct spine arrow for your setup. These are very useful in getting the right setup.
