I'm not trying to start another tony argument; it's obvious where most of us stand there. Anybody got any predictions?

Here's my top five
1. Tony Stewart
2. Jimmie Johnson
3. Gordan
4. Khane
5. Kenseth

I think somebody will final knock off JJ, might not be tony but he's due at this track. If I were betting the farm though, I'd have to pick Johnson. It'll definitely be an exciting race with plenty of good racing and some good arguing.

i think it will be johnson and harvick up front again.except this time harvick wins it.but dont be surprised if jr is right up there with them.

I left out Junior; I think he'll run well. Harvick had a good car Saturday. I think this will be a very entertaing raise. Let's not forget about Biffle.

I have boycotted NASCAR at my house until further notice. After the BS I have gone through with Nextel over the past 45 days I get a sick feeling in my stomach if I even think about turning on a race now....... It sucks to because I have been a NASCAR fan for many years.

I don't. That's another reason my decision was made easier. I can get my drama elsewhere without having to support Nextel.

i think jeffy will be fast. did u notice that his car seemed to get faster as the runs got longer? that'll be key in a 600 mile race where the track changes from day time temps to nite temps. hope u don't take offense to me raggin on your guy ;) . its all harmless - if u r a nascar fan u gotta hate one or two of 'em.

course JJ will be a factor as well ;)

No offense taken. If you don't like someone that's your choice. I don't like JJ, it happens.

Yeah, I think Gordo will be pretty good in this one. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he won. I think it'll have be a good driver and a real strong team to pull out this race. Pit stops are going to be a big deal and Jeff's had one of the best crews several years. I wouldn't expect a young driver to win this one, but who knows these days in Nascar. A wreck could wipe out all five drivers I listed. That's what makes it fun.

Beer, Barbecue, a 600 mile race, and not having to go to work on Monday. Priceless

I think Gordon will be fine if he can get his car to run on the short runs. You saw how many cautions we had Saturday Night. Why would you think it's going to be any different for 600 miles? The combo of the new surface and harder tire compound is causing the cars to be extremely nervous. Last year there were 22 cautions with the longest green flag run around 80 laps but most avergaing 15-20. Hopefully it won't be that miserable this year, but I am expecting the worst. I bet half the cars don't finish.

2005:
Time of Race: 05:13:52
Lead Changes: 37

Cautions: 22

Green Flag runs:Lap-1-7, 10-11, 15-94, 98-102, 108-115, 122-140, 147-151, 155-163, 168-201, 205-210, 214-217, 225-228, 231-235, 238-240, 243-247, 254-267, 270-290, 293-308, 312-357, 362-368, 373-380, 387-392, 396-400
