OK just out of curiosity has anyone else called in coyotes this year turkey hunting? I have and I have heard of people doing it in the past but it seems like this year just about everyone you talk to has had coyotes to either come to the calls or jump the birds they were calling, I also noticed the birds basically quit gobbling after I called in that coyote anyone else notice this and by after I mean on other hunts, and by the way I didn't get a shot on the coyote. Its kinda sad I have tried to call them in with digital calls and had no luck but try to hunt something else and one is sitting in my lap.

I have had coyotes screw my hunt up twice this year, and didn't get a shot at either one.

We hunted 7 days this season; in those 7 days we killed 4 turkey's and 2 coyotes. Both days we killed the coyote, they totally screwed us!

Called in 2 coyotes on youth weekend, all turkeys around went silent. Called in one 5-6-06 on a different farm and hit it pretty good with some #6's but it got away.

didn't call in a single 'yote this year. Called in 2 or 3 the previous 2 years each.

The coyote population has seemed to increase this year...I have saw several large ones roaming around, following potential food.
