I am new to hunting and am wanting to go turkey hunting this spring. I am wanting to use WMA. Where can I get information and possible maps to these areas. Thanks for you for your help.

Try going to the home page of this site. There is a link to the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. Probably a good place to start.

It's right under your nose csswift! Go to the homepage of this website (click "Home" up at the top of the screen) When you get to the home page, look at the menu on the left side of the screen. Move your mouse over to where it says "Hunting Info". That should pop up a menu, at which the bottom of there is a link to Public Hunting Areas. This lists all the WMAs. There should be some phone #'s on there for each area. You can also call the toll-free Department of Fish & Wildlife # 1-800-858-1549 and request maps of many of the WMA's. If you have any questions on a specific WMA, just post it on here and we'll try to help you out anyway we can.

csswift, I don't know about all the WMA's but I would say if any are like Paintsville WMA you can't go out there without seeing or hearing those gobblers.

Don't overlook Peabody the last days of the season, as well as the Daniel Boone National Forest.
