has any of you used the "no plow" food plot seed,how did you go about it and how well did it grow

Save your money. I tried it twice(first and last!) What DID come up was never touched.

I agree! A much better option for those not wanting to plow is to spray the seedbed in advance with a herbacide like Round-Up and then use a seed drill to plant your seeds. You could probably find a farmer in the area that would plant your plot with his drill for a relatively small fee. This method eliminates virtually all competitive weeds and is better for errosion as well. The only time I would recommend plowing your food plot would be to work in lime or fertilizer that your soil test recommends. This is usually only necissary every few years after you've initially got your seedbed to the proper PH (especially with clover/winter wheat) unless you plan on planting standing corn or other types of "crop" plants that take a lot out of the soil.
