Birds Hammerin good in the Western end of the state, I Made it out again today before work, Birds Gobbled good on the roost, and a few of em kept it up after flydown. Sure can't wait till Saturday.

Good luck P. I have a couple of different groups located myself. Yesterday was a good scouting day for me. I was off from work (thanks to jury duty) so I headed out for town around 8:00. As I approached my property line I saw a hen making her way into a field next to the road with mister big not far behind. I know he wasn't as big as I think because he sure looked like a black 55 gallon drum. For his sake, he had better pick a different travel route on Saturday morning or I will make sure that it will be his last!:D

Went out again this morning to glass a field. Heard about 3 gobbles and saw one fly down in to a field where i will be in the morning.

Just got back about an hour ago from re-setting my blind. The wind this way has played havac on it. It is now ready and I heard a bird gobble about 6 times while setting it up. Sounded like he was moving towards it so I left. Hope he roosts near it tonight. GOOD LUCK to all hunting this year. I had a kid lined up for this weekend to go with me, but his dad called this morning and said he had strep throat and would not be hunting. We will hit it next weekend.

Out again b4 work today, and located another wad of em.... 5 or 6 Gobblers hammered away for quiet some time, pretty steady till I left @ 7:30.

Good luck guys, I am in Iraq and I will hopefully be home at the end of the week, so dont kill em all. How is the weather going to be at the end of the week?
