Good luck Bowling Green, Madisonville and Hoptown guys.

I've been riding the front of the firing line on these storms all morning at work in TN. We've had golf ball size hail that has knocked out skylights and windows at coworker's homes. So far the tornado warnings have hung just to the south, but it's just one cell blowing up after another.

The worst stuff is supposedly not getting here until later too.....

what the heck is up with this weather? I don't remember it being this severe growing up.

Looks like the worst is still in TN right now, but moving NE into KY from Calloway Co to Central KY. If the storms aren't there now, they are coming. Tornado's, stong winds and large hail are on the way.

We had some nickel size hail in Murray about a hour ago and heard some reports of larger toward Hazel & New Concord. I hope it calms down a little.....those families in Christian Co. & around Dyersburg , Tenn. need a break.

There was some golf ball size hail here (BG work), but luckily it stayed on the opposite side of town. However, it did get pretty rough. Lots of strong winds and hard, hard rain.

Im a certified weather spotter and i been watching them all morning. Here in Henderson, we JUST missed the line. But later on we might not be so lucky. Shaping up 2b a ruff spring. May be dodging tornadic storms more this turkey season that we have in awhile! You can go to the Severe Storms prediction center @ www.spc.noaa.gov, its a good site to follow the action. Also the Paducah site is http://www.crh.noaa.gov.pah. I got others if u want them, u can Pm me;)

I use the NOAA site myself.

Kind of wondering now what is left to come today. These storms weren't supposed to materialize until mid afternoon but they started here midmorning. Local news also said the weather would be coming from the north riding this front... it's been coming from the southwest all day.

I hope we're not in for another round of this stuff today. They're still saying that it should be over for this area by mid evening. It's bad enough during the day.... after dark it's 100 times worse.

Hope they're right for a change and we've seen the worst of it.

Good thing that hail wasn't any bigger than it was. I got hit with it twice today.

We had some wicked lightning and lots of rain but the main portion of the storm was just to my south. Next one is looking kinda ominous too. Good luck everyone.

Jeez Louise.......

I don't know that I've ever seen one severe thunderstorm right after the other roll through like this. So far the hail here hasn't been any bigger than about marble size.

Got another one coming on a string right now that is supposed to be packing 60 mph wind and large hail.

Anybody seen the news out of Nashville?

Those folks got hammered hard down that way and middle TN still is. Several dead reported already. They showed at least 3 miles worth of $300,000+ dollar homes destroyed.

I hate it when those storms develope and branch out like they did this mid-morning thru afternoon in Tennessee & Central Ky. Looks like tomatoes on the plant on radar. I knew it was trouble! Thoughts and prayers go out to those families & towns affected! Here in Henderson, we pretty much come out rosey. 5 ball-bearing size hail events between 6-7pm was it. Lots of Thunder & occasional lighting.

We've got nothing in SW Lexington so far. It has been a real nice evening.

Looking at the radar and there are two broad bands of storms going thru KY and Tenn right now. We had a pretty severe storm in my area about 5:00 and had some houses with their roofs ripped off. Lots of trees in the roads and stuff like that. I didn't see any hail but the rain was heavy and the winds were pretty stiff, probably 45-50 mph at times.

South end of pulaski come out pretty good just hard rain and lightning I think the north end got it worst like normal. I don't know what it is but for some reason it seems like the north end always gets hit harder than the south end. Could the lake have anything to do with that????

We made it through with nothing more than some high winds and lots of rain. Reports of a couple of touchdowns in Louisville at this point.

As wide as this storm is, I don't think anybody will escape the spotlight.

Took me 6 hours to get from N. Alabama to Nashbag yesterday afternoon, a trip that usually takes 2 to 2.5 hrs. Spent 1.5 hrs waiting for a dodge to burn out, then hit the storms. Had to weave in and out of the line that came across TN. Stopped at Tullahoma to eat and waited for a big storm to get out of the way (one bad looking storm around Manchester), drove through the aftermath of a hail storm where it looked like it had snowed in Bedford and Rutherford County, outran a storm coming across from the Franklin area but did catch a bit of the hail -- no damage, though.

From Nashbag on, it was smooth sailing except that all my rest stops on I-24 were closed due to power outages -- even Cadiz. Took 8 hours to go 250 miles. Was happy to get home. Went out this morning and saw that hail had beat the crap out of my Bronco while I was gone.

We were fortunate here in BG as those in Nashville were pummelled. I'll never forget that storm in 1998, April 16th I think it was. Piles of hail next to the buildings, millions of dollars of damage here in BG, roads and ditches clogged up with torn up leaves and foliage, etc... I'm going to keep a close, close eye on the weather this turkey season. I got caught in some mean stuff a few years ago and was hugging the downwind side of a tree for dear life, and I don't want to do it again!

I Must Be Living Right. Had To Go To Louisville Tuesday To Work Storm Trouble. Storm Blew Through Richmond Yesterday. Only Had Trouble From One Lightning Strike. That One Strike Blew Three Trnsformers, An Under Ground 7200 Volt Line And Blew The Top Out Of A New 45' Pole. Found Pieces Of The Pole 90' Away. Other Than That All Was Ok. Hope Everone One Else Is As Lucky.

Man I drove from Paintsville to Louisville yesterday evening in the first storm that hit Morgan Co about 4:30 and it was bad all the way to Campton then hit another one at the edge of Shelbyville and drove into J-town with the sirens blowing and trees swaying. Glad it wasn't any worse, most of our workers were out all night from storm damage while I was on the trip.
