YES!!! You can bet i will be in my blind next to a field. Dont let the rain get you down. Put on a poncho or get in a blind on the edge of a field and wait for the birds to come out-- because they will sooner or later as long as it keeps raining. They cant hear or see very good in the woods when it is raining so they come out into the fields.

Normally the weather forcast can't tell what it will be doing 2 days from now. They sure as hell can't tell what it will be doing 9 days from today.

I hope you're right.

I am a runnin' and gunnin' man. No blind hunting for me.

I wouldn't put to much into it until next week, that front could speed up or slow down or go away by then. They won't know real well until tuesday or wensday

I need to listen to your weather man.

They can't hit what it's going to be doing in 12 hours around here......

Everyday is a 50/50 chance of rain--either it does or it doesn't.

Something that works good and is easy to carry is the umbrellas that you attach to the tree. Get the big jumbo, and you can also use it for a ground shield if you want.

I just checked for todd county and weather.com says sunny with a high of 77 for both days. Even if it does rain i think most of us will be out in full force anyways. This week is gonna go by so slow, and friday night i probably wont sleep at all, thats what happened last year.

I hope it does rain. Actually hope it pours. It will keep a lot of people at home.

Well i really dont care what it does, ive got 2000 acres between me and 4 other people, but yeah for public ground that would help out the committed ones, good luck!

I've had just as good if not better results in the rain. Either way, I'll be out there.

While in Gatlinburg TN I found the most accurate way to predict the weather. It was a rock. If the rock is wet it is raining. If the rock is dry it is not raining. If the rock is cold then its cold outside. When the rock is hot it is sunny outside.

YEESSSS SIRRRRRR!!!!! Patience is a virtue! When it rains no run'n and gun'n is needed. The birds WILL be in A field when the rains comes and its so nice up inside a double bull:D

I have had more luck in or around a rain than on a high pressure. How many times have you seen turkeys in the field when it is raining or gobble to the thunder!

wishing you the best of luck with your choice there rutnut. I for one will be missing opening day due to a high school track meet. I figure missing one day is not gonna ruin my season as i hunt on my own property so i dont have to worry about anyone else getttting on my birds.

I heard birds gobbling at 1040 while i was at my farm earlier. As long as they gobble all day, i dont have any problem staying out all day, rain or no rain.
