I have a Carlson's in a ported .680 that shoots the smaller sizes well. It patterns good with Rem. Hevi-shot #5 and #6 or Federal mag-shock loads in any shot size. I normally use the Hevi #5's.
For #4 Hevi, I'll use the Patternmaster tube for good patterns. Not sure what size it is though?

I have talked to a lot of people and for some reason they have tried to talk me out of buying the choke tube constriction that patterns the best I have seen for my gun. I have found that in the SBE II a .640 constriction comp-n-choke with Winchester HV #6 3 1/2" shells patterns awesome. With that combination I am extatic.
I sold my beretta xtrema because I couldnt get a pattern I liked (not saying that beretta doesnt make a good gun). Switched to the SBE II and in my opinion it was the best decision I ever made.
I just bought the new SBE II this summer. I also just got my new Kick's choke in the mail today. I shoot a Kick's .660 with 3 1/2 5's. This pattern is awesome.
